Job title: Product Marketing Manager
Reports to: VP, Market Strategy

Job Location: Remote; on-site Boston
EMIT Imaging is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for our life sciences product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life sciences, combined with expertise in product marketing, to drive go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and demand generation. You will work cross-functionally to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that resonate with our target audience, support revenue growth, and enhance brand visibility.

EMIT Imaging is a leading manufacturer of Cryo-Fluorescence Tomography (CFT) systems and CFT fee-for-service research for the global bioresearch market with sites in Baltimore, MD and Boston, MA. EMIT Imaging was founded in 2018 on the concept that 3D, high resolution and sensitivity fluorescence-based molecular imaging is invaluable and essential for therapeutic discovery and development. Our instrumentation and software provide the most competitive product suite for this emerging modality, and our organization is driven to continuously develop and support innovative technologies and applications to meet customer needs and answer critical biological questions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute GTM strategies for CFT Instrumentation and Services
- Oversee and drive product positioning
- Develop and implement content including sell sheets, brochures, PowerPoints, etc.
- Conduct market research and analysis
- Oversee digital efforts and strategy (paid and organic)
- Develop sales enablement materials and work closely with sales team to help drive customer acquisition
- Support website development and SEO efforts
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 3 years in the life sciences or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of successful product launches and go-to-market campaigns.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the life sciences industry, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling marketing messages.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and measure success.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA, Ph.D.) in life sciences, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience working in a B2B environment within the life sciences or healthcare industries.
