Travel Award Terms & Conditions

  • Purpose:
    • The EMIT Imaging Travel Award supports researchers presenting work featuring Cryo-Fluorescence Tomography (CFT) at scientific conferences.
  • Eligibility: Applicants must:
    • Be active researchers (graduate students, postdocs, faculty, or staff).
    • Present research that utilizes or highlights CFT.
    • Include acknowledgment of EMIT Imaging and the Xerra™ Cryo-Fluorescence Tomography Imaging Platform in their poster or oral presentation.
  • Award Requirements:
    • Awardees must clearly reference “Cryo-Fluorescence Tomography” and acknowledge EMIT Imaging and Xerra™ during their presentation.
    • Funding (up to $750 USD) may be applied toward travel, lodging, or conference registration expenses.
  • Post-Conference Obligations:
    • Awardees may be asked to share a copy of their final presentation/poster and optionally a photo from the event for EMIT Imaging’s internal or public communications.
    • By accepting the stipend, recipients grant EMIT Imaging permission to reference their participation in promotional or educational materials.
  • Payment:
    • Reimbursement or direct payment details will be coordinated following award notification.
    • Proof of attendance and receipts may be required.
  • Selection:
    • Awards are competitive and based on scientific merit, CFT relevance, and potential impact.
    • EMIT Imaging reserves the right to withhold or revoke funding if requirements are not met.
